Here is a hummingbird nest right outside my porch that was just made. The nest looks as though it's made of soft fibers, hairs and feathers and looks like a small deep cup. I just checked it again (01-03-10 at 10pm) and the female is snuggled deep inside with just her head out. Will keep on giving updates.
That is so tiny. A lot of clever work by the bird.

ReplyDeleteSo that is the cute nest you been telling me about. There breeding period is usually March to July, so I don't think there is any babies there, but you never know. Soon will see.
