Love the lady Bug

Buzzzzz

This bee was buzzing around me as I did a walk through the Newport Bay Mudflat. It is one of the last remaining estuaries in Southern California. We saw many species.

Imperfect Web

As I walked along a path within Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, CA this small web caught my eye. I focused it in and what a site it was. This tiny wonder was amazing and so detailed that it looks like natures map of beauty.

Dragonfly

Up close and personal with a dragonfly. This photograph isn't focused to a T, however, it being approximately 20-30 feet away and the dragonfly only being an inch long..well this will do.

This dragonfly actually hung out for about an hour. Once in a while moving. I do not know much about them, but I do believe that it was sunning.

Lots of color

This photograph was taken a while ago. If I recall, it was a warm day and the butterflies were flying everywhere around all the blossoms. If I could see their faces, I'm sure there was a big smile on each. Days like this are priceless to me.
