DoGone Summer Fun

Newport River Jetties is a great place to take the pups! My dog is on the right sharing is toy with a new cute female friend. We spend a lot of time here and as summer comes to an end soon, we will be down here all of the time. I get to photograph and the pup gets to play.

Three is a delight - My Peace

These last few months have been extremely busy for me and I haven’t taken the time for myself. My peace is the beach. These shells, driftwood and I, all alone at the beach.

Sand Lava

Today was another great day at the beach. It was pleasant this morning, however, the weather is changing and the rain is coming. Regardless, I am there! Enjoy what I call Sand Lava. It flowed downward just like lava.

Tiny Shells

As I walk along the shore there were thousands of tiny shells. It was almost like a shopping mall with all of those holiday shoppers. And thank goodness I was strolling along the beach with my bare feet enjoying the shells, sand, and ocean water on my feet.

Sand Layers

I love to walk to beach and take photos. This day I found a huge trench where the water ran through down to the beach. The layers in the sand where beautiful.

An Evening at the Beach

Spending an evening at the beach is what I do often. The wind is always blowing; the waves are forever crashing the coast and the air smells of serenity. One can sit and ponder, unwind, or just watch people play like I did. I snapped this photo and added a Ttv effect.

Doggie Fun

Spending anytime at the beach is always fun...and when you add puppies & dogs into to mix, well all I can say is FUN FUN FUN. There were so many puppies, doggies, and people enjoying the beach. Dakota is playing with this puppy and having the time of his life. Every dog should go to Dog Beach!

1, 2, 3, JUMP!

As I sit on the pier, these children were having a blast. 1,2,3, jump! Now how fun is that? If we (I) could be young again. Happy times for sure.

What An Afternoon

This was a day of enjoying the sun, the wind, my friends, and using my camera. At first it seemed that the wind was too light, however, as you can see, lift-off was for sure!

What a view it was.

I was able to take lots of photos of these precious pelicans flying by.
