Red Friend

A few birds were poking around this bare tree and this red one caught me eye. Daily I watch my baby hummingbirds, however, this cute guy was curious and flirty! I'm taken silly.

I have had more House Finches here this winter than ever before. Now the hawks are no longer coming around. I get lots of one and none of the other.

Some Slinky History...

The photography blog name came from my childhood nickname (thx mom!). And YES, I was called SLINKY! It's funny, so many years I tried to get away from that name and now I'm back full-circle by using it again. Life is good! Shooting with Slinky is alive!!
