Thorny Tree


This is one of two huge thorny trees at UCI Arboretum. I do not know the name yet, however, it is gorgeous and strong with grayish-white thorns. The green foliage is a great contrast to the soft colors of the tree.

    Those thorns look pretty sharp!
    Is that on the trunk? If it is, I've never seen anything like that before.
