Up close and personal with a dragonfly. This photograph isn't focused to a T, however, it being approximately 20-30 feet away and the dragonfly only being an inch long..well this will do.
This dragonfly actually hung out for about an hour. Once in a while moving. I do not know much about them, but I do believe that it was sunning.

As I sit on a bench, at first I do not even notice the gorgeous red and white flowers behind me. As I people watch and move my head from side to side, I catch a glimpse of red. I turn around and there are these small delicate blossoms awaiting some attention. Hello ‘lil red plant in the ground.
With this photo, I used Seamless and I like the effect. It looks as though the terraces never end.
This was a great evening as the rain coats the area, cleans the air and not a person in site. The mirrored streets reflect the street & holiday lights. I posterized my photograph, which brought out some strong colors.
Last year on December 25th after all of the festivities and birthday celebration were over, we drove down to Old Pasadena to a ice skating rink for some continued fun for the evening. This facility had classic chandeliers that were quite beautiful. Lots of them! This view is from above connected to a staircase that leads you here. A view where you dream of skating with thick winter gloves, a holiday scarf, and long underwear underneath those classic jeans and sweater. A view with chilly air and lots of kids begging their moms to skate. A view where lovers hold each other tight. A view indeed.
This is my "Stretch" photo for my second post of me playing with my photographs. This time I used Sobel...looks neat, yet spacey. Maybe even taken in the deep depths of the dark ocean, at the bottom where there is no light.
This month I am going to play with my photographs by using colors, tools, filters, layers, and whatever else to have some fun to create some neat cards, etc.
